Conflict Minerals Procurement Policy

time:2021-10-14publisher:

Some metals have become a major source of revenue for armed rebel groups in the Democratic Republic of Congo, sparking international controversy as they trade arms, perpetuate bloody conflicts with the government and ravage civilians. As a citizen of the world, we declare and promise not to accept the use of metals from conflict mines; At the same time, suppliers of Deray are also required to:

1. Must fulfill social and environmental responsibilities;

2. Ensure that products do not use "conflict minerals" from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and neighbouring countries and regions;

3.Trace the origin of gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tin (Sn) and tungsten (W) contained in all products;

4. Convey this requirement to your upstream suppliers.

Conflict metals: minerals from the conflict areas of the Democratic Republic of Congo, including niobium tantalite, cassiterite, wolscheite and gold. These minerals are refined into tantalum (Ta), tin (Sn), tungsten (W) and gold (Au), which are used in electronics and other products, respectively.

In the near future, metals produced by certain smelters will be banned, so all key suppliers will have to trace the origin of metals used in their parts to the smelter.
